St Andrew’s School Presentation to WSPC

At the November 2018 Parish Council meeting, a presentation by 4 children from St Andrew’s Primary School accompanied by parents was made in the public forum.  The theme of the presentation was Woodhall Spa – Our Lovely Village.  In the presentation the children identified several areas in the village that need attention such as out dated planning application notices, street signs that need cleaning, the state of the village notice board on the white picket fence, pot holes, footpaths that need cleaning and reparing and the damaged public telephone box on Witham Rd.

The children also commented that they “saw minimal litter, admired the work that has taken place in the graveyard and all the planting in the village centre to keep it looking so attractive”.  Volunteers keeping the village tidy were also praised.

The Chairman thanked the children for their very extensive and well researched view of the village as well as their extremely professional delivery.  Each child was presented with a Green Knight certificate by the Chairman in recognition of their work.

The Council agreed to address those areas under Parish Council control and to request the appropriate authorities to address those other areas.

The full presentation can be downloaded using the link below.
